VNU STUDENTS BECAME THE BEST IN WRITTEN RESEARCH WORKS
Students of Lesya Ukrainka University took part in the 5th-8th November online National Research Works Contest for members of Junior Academy of Sciences.
The students represented Volyn region. 6 of them became prizewinners.
1st-year student of the Faculty of Foreign Philology Maksym Yakymchuk won the 1st prize. His thesis advisors were Phd in Philology, Associate Professor of the Department of German Philology Larysa Rys, and PhD in Philosophy, Senior Lecturer of the Department of German Philology Laryssa Ivaniuk.
3 students ranked second: 1st-year student of the Institute of Physics and Technology Nazar Hrabets (coordinated by Doctor of Pedagogy, Professor of the Department of Experimental Physics, Informational and Educational Technologies Oleksandr Martyniuk); 1st-year student of the Faculty of Geogrpahy Anton Mozoliuk (coordinated by PhD in Geography, Associate Professor at Lutsk National Technichal University, supervisor of Junior Academy Section of Geology, Geochemistry and Mineralogy, Mykola Fedoniuk); and 1st-year student of the Faculty of Arts and Culture Kateryna Tsyguliova (coordinated by PhD in Philology, Associate Professor at the Department of Theory of Literature and Foreign Literature Olena Kytsan).
2 students won the 3rd prizes for the contest; a student from the Institute of Physics and Technology Andrii Prykhodko (coordinated by PhD in Physics and Mathematics, Associate Prof. at the Svidzynski Department of Theoretical and Computational Physics, Pavlo Shyhorin), and a student of Law Anhelina Shevchuk (coordinated by PhD in Biology, Associate Prof. at the Department of Human and Animal Physiology Tetiana Poruchynska).
The Head of Volyn Regional Junior Academy of Sciences Tetiana Mykhailiuk expressed gratitude to the VNU Rector Anatolii Tsios and professors for the fruitful cooperation and supervision of the students. .
